4/11 與 Edge,北埔『五子之碑』Geocache

「砍斷五指同血淚,五指山邊五子悲。」

在看了 Tony 的自然人文旅記『[新竹北埔].五子碑.五子悲』的文章之後,
這樣的尋寶便帶著不一樣的色彩。
Edge 是我的高中同學,在這樣的地方相聚,真是很有緣份!

Five Children
What a special place.

"Bleed and tears, as like cutting off all my five fingers,
endless sadness to the five children beside mountain five-fingers."

There is a detail about the place.
If you understand Chinese, I would like to introduce an article... (visit link)
For those dying, both Taiwanese and Japanese, are all victims of wars.
Discussing who is right and who is wrong shows no respect for those passing.

When we came out the place, we unexpectedly met descendant of dying Taiwanese.
They were going to clean up their tombs and visit the execution ground.
They invited us to join them to commemorate those dying.
Badly, we need to went back to Taipei before noon.
Good luck to them, I could only give them a gassho.

Edge and I, we are roommates of senior high school.
It's such a long time ago, more than 20 years.
We met in Facebook, and we finally got together because of geocaching.
What a coincident, we had never though, a long-time-no-see happened in such place.

Thanks to cache owner, fujitaic, for all the things happens the day.
