6/5 全家，三角山、雙峰、與八卦村 Geocaching

繼 BT 之後，我們也計畫拜訪 Jing 兄在三義與銅鑼放置的 Geocaches。我的老家苑裡，離三義不遠，也常常拜訪苑裡與三義之間的山路。十三號省道的另外一頭倒是鮮少前往。所以當 Jing 兄公布這兩個寶的時候，對這山名還真的很陌生。這讓我想起，年輕的時候，很愛看的一部影集叫 "Twin Peaks" (http://youtu.be/7oDuGN6K3VQ)。搬來台北後，新店北宜公路上，也有個雙峰，山形真的很 "雙峰"。沒想到，我的苗栗家鄉也有雙峰，我竟然一點也不曉得，真是令我驚訝。

Wow, the trail is so beautiful and good-view.

The trail is almost on a narrow hill-line all the way. Two sides are both very steep. However, because there are many trees on the way, so it's not horrible at all. And also because the day is so clear and beautiful, we have a very clear view along the way.

With owner's GPX, we have no difficulty on find road. When we went to the Mt. SanJiao, we are facing two choices. One, we could turn back and go down to our car on park and drive to the next geocache. Or we could continue hiking for almost 4 kilometers to the next cache, and another 4 kilometers to train station. I asked to my family. Two for the first choice, and two for the last choice. It is even. However, the last one is chosen by parents, so we continue for hiking another 8 kilometers.

Thanks Jing for the cache. I have lived not very far away from this mountain, but I don't know it. It's a pity that we didn't see any Tung flower along the way. Maybe next time, I will come in May.

ShuanFeng Mountain
After enjoying a wonder lunch on "small open ground", we continued our hiking. Thanks to the good sunshine, the temperature became hotter and hotter. And the most badly, that we drank up all our waters.

When we arrived Mt. ShuanFeng, we are kind of exhausted. And because our drinking water is nearly zero. So I sent our youngest son to go down to a temple near by. In shock, after a long waiting, he returned with nothing and told us that there is no any one in the temple. How could it possibly be true? How could there be no any human being in such a big temple? But I have no other way, we could only contine going on our thirst journey. Not very long, we arrived the GZ, we were glad that we found the cache easily. However, there is also no any water in it (without any surprise). Wife and kids became complaining more and more about the hiking. I could only comfort them that the trail is going to be finished. We were very close to the Tung Flower Park. And when we were in the Park, I told them we will call a taxi to the SanYi at the existence of the park. When we could not find a taxi, I told them that a 7-11 store is not very far away. And when we finally arrived the distanced 7-11, they finally stop complaining.

Thanks Jing, I should have put attention to your warning about food and water. This trail turned out to be very exhausted, but it is very rewarded, too. Thanks for your introduction.

BLUE: Jin-Gua Bridge
After we left SanJiao & ShuanFeng Mountain, we came to Edge's BLUE serials on Ba-Gua Village.

I have long to these caches long time ago, but since it's kind of far away, I got no vehicle to here. Finally, I got a chance to a cache near by. However, it seems I have not hunt Edge's caches for some time, I lost feeling of his hidings. I only found 1 of 3 include this one.

Thanks Edge, I will find another chance to came here.

The Beautiful Bridge

We came to this really quiet place, we like it, pretty much thinking this is a place worth to live when we are retired.

At fist, GPSr lead us on a trail which is really small, I dared not to drive on it. So I call out to Jing for asking if the trail is for a car. However, battery power of my phone is lower than 1 %. So, not very long before Jing could answer me any information. The battery is dead. So I decided to take a chance to drive on it. Luckily, very soon we found that this trail lead us to a road which is obviously wide enough for our car.

Even we didn't find the cache. The atmosphere around GZ is so peaceful and quiet. We like it very much. But badly, we could not stay too long, because the sun is going down. We have to call it a day.
