The park is really unique. It is surrounded by skyscrapers and kind of peaceful with ham-ham voice in the background. This reminded me one of my hidden cache in Taiwan.

The Park
The Most Magnetic Place in ShanghaiYes, my first real cache in Shanghai.
Today, it is my Shanghai Walk-to-Cache day one. I cached with my own foot, the only vehicle used is Shanghai Metro. I bought one-day-ticket which is very economic for a foreign geocache like me.
When I was solving puzzle of this cache, I found my final location displayed in Google Map looks suspicious. I couldn't help to send an email for help. Fortunately, I know what's wrong then. Thanks to my geocacher friend Jing, he reminded me that I must unplug my China map, otherwise, it will have 500 meters error. It's really truth. I cannot image if I don't have his advice before hunter.
The river look from this side is also very beautiful. Fortune of me, Shanghai is cloudy today and there are not so much muggles today. I could have an easy search. However, I found the log is gone, and one of cap of cache is also gone. What is left is only two magnets in a top cap. I checked those photos I know I have found it. The cache may need some maintenance.

Walking from metro station to GZ made me feel like I walking in USA. Not just people walk around here are quite foreigners. But also, the buildings and neighborhood here look like USA style. I guess there must be lots of foreigners live here.
I found the the magnet is gone, and instead a sticker is used. But the sticker looks like a garbage to me. I searched my backpack found nothing useful for this situation. But fortunately, at last I found a sticker on my facial tissues container, which is transparent and stronger for holding.
Thanks Ryan & Derek for the cache. The school looks peaceful. And I have a good rest to my food at the bench.

Wow, today must be my luck day. When I was in front of entrance of gateway. I don't believed I could pass. Because of four security guys. I hanged down my head and walked forward to them. Magically, they didn't see me, I felt myself like Harry Potter with invisible coat. After I got in, GPSr lead me in front of a building. and I realized that there is a wedding. Thanks to bridge and groom.
When I was on the second floor. It's not a business time, so no one was there. I dared not to search anything, I may be arrest. I headed down to an office room. I saw a beautiful girl sitting there. I told her who I am a geocacher, and why I here to seek for a cache. Binge! She knew with a positive "Oh" sound. She is not sure where the cache is, but after I showed the description to her. She help me to find the cache. Nice! I'm too happy to ask for a picture with her. Must be in her working time, she kindly refused to do so. But it's OK, I were too happy already.
Thanks to the Chen Family, the happy new couple and the beautiful girl, this is a very unique experience of my geo hunting. It's worth all the walk.

Yark! As cache owner told in description, the river looks so dirty. I dared not wash my hands there. However I saw two swimming muggles there enjoying cold summer time. They must be very strong.
The hint from owner did a good job, I found the cache without difficulty. Like I always said in my home town Taiwan, I like an easy cache more than a difficult one. And this is my first time to see the official cache container. It's so tiny and beautiful, nice and good!

The Cache I Never Saw Before
A pity, I didn't meet the previous hunter.
Football in the park!What a park, it is so big.
At beginning, I felt strange. Why an entrance to a park cost 10 RMB. But after I walked in the park. I realized, yes it is worth. At the entrance, I found the cache is more than 1 km away from me. And it's quite a walk to the cache. Fortunately, it's very cool in park.
I took some time to search at GZ. After 30 minutes, I felt giving up, because I could not find any electronic box. Only I saw are a lots of electronic stone. Then I peek the box (numbered as 3rd one). I climbed across to it. Unexpectedly, one loving couple is interrupted by my sudden appearance. I felt sorry. I peek at them, they looks at me suspiciously, because I was lying down on the ground look at the electron box. I could not find any. So I opened up the box, I realized why every body kept saying not to push it too hard to put it back and why every body mention water. But badly, even I opened up the box, I check it carefully. I could not find the cache. I recheck and recheck it again, nothing is found. I

Happy Baby01-ShanghaiContinue my Shanghai feel-so-tired walk-to-cache Day One.
After hunting in Century Park, I felt so exhausted. I planed to call it a day. But it is only 4:30 PM. It did not met my hunting tradition, always hunt until there is no light. So, I pick an easy one. Thanks to cache owner, who describe so detail that I'm appreciated so much.
When I walked up hill, I saw a man squatting near GZ. I though he is a hunter, I'm kind of excited to approach him. But when I were near, he is shocked by my appearance, and gone immediately. Well, he is just a stealthy muggle. The cache is hidden well and good. It's easy to be identify by a geocacher.
Thanks APHDAJ, you gave me a happy ending of today's feel-so-exhausted walk-to-cache. Let's cross fingers that I will have a good hunting tomorrow.
